A premier performance sire and Raffety Cattle Company's newest stallion - Hickory is a blood bay with a star, snip and four black feet! Hickory was only shown twice as a cowhorse and impressed many with his tremendous amount of cow and talent. His foal crops are showing lots of natural collection, which is so important in making those big stops and turns. They are also beautiful to look at! Hickorys Irish Pep is a six year old son on Paddys Irish Whiskey (full brother to Grays Starlight and Rooster). Paddy's Irish Whiskey sold at the legendary 6666 Ranch and his offspring are doing it all: cutting, reining, reined cow horse, roping and versatility ranch. Hickorys Irish Pep represents some of the most well known cow horse bloodlines. Both Grays Starlight and Tanquery Gin (one of the industry's leading maternal grandsires) recently died. Docs Hickory was the #4 all time leading cutting horse sire. Foals are nominated to the Montana Reined Cow Horse Futurity Stallion Stakes.
