The SMHB Association is made up of 13 breeders in southwest Montana. They sell one-owner horses ONLY that have been born, raised and worked on their ranches. Members are permitted to sell their breeding stock after owning broodmares for a minimum of 3 years and stallions no less than 5 years. Vet inspections are done on each sale horse. All horses must meet criteria to be allowed in the sale.
